Metropol is a new kind of lunch restaurant that combines international food trends with Finnish, ecologically produced ingredients. According to its innovative concept, the restaurant brings different international delicacies and tastes from Helsinki to Milan and from New York to Bangkok to your plate every day. Metropol is a truly genuine restaurant with international, high-quality food and ambiance.

Metropol also offers treats for the whole family: why not bring home some fresh bread from the Kannisto bakery or cakes from Konditoria ph7 that are sold here every day!

The environmentally friendly choice

Metropol represents modern and ecological culinary culture. Only fresh, first-class ingredients, acquired from local producers, are used. Organically produced goods are favoured, and all trays, take away dishes, mugs, and napkins that are used in the restaurant are made from recyclable materials. The restaurant only uses ecological energy, and all waste materials are carefully sorted.

Share Tastes & Events Oy is behind the culinary experiences at Metropol. Share is not just food at its best – it also means getting together in a cosy environment and sharing tastes and experiences.

The food and genuine ambiance are inspired by the Share philosophy that was created by the Dutch-born Peter Walch. Since 1988, Walch has worked at the Palace, Via, Teatteri, Radisson SAS Plaza, and Klaus Kurki Bulevardi Kaksi restaurants, and at the Kaikilla Mausteilla (which translates as "with every available spice") catering restaurant. Peter Walch serves his clients with a big heart – and in five languages!
