Organically produced goods are favoured, and all trays, take away dishes, mugs, and napkins that are used in the restaurant are made from recyclable materials. The restaurant only uses ecological energy, and all waste materials are carefully sorted.

Share Tastes & Events Oy is behind the culinary experiences at Metropol. Share is not just food at its best – it also means getting together in a cosy environment and sharing tastes and experiences.

The food and genuine ambiance are inspired by the Share philosophy that was created by the Dutch-born Peter Walch. Since 1988, Walch has worked at the Palace, Via, Teatteri, Radisson SAS Plaza, and Klaus Kurki Bulevardi Kaksi restaurants, and at the Kaikilla Mausteilla (which translates as "with every available spice") catering restaurant. Peter Walch serves his clients with a big heart – and in five languages!
